Oltarcie is a group of stone buildings renovated and fitted out to combine charm and comfort in a sustainable spirit. Nestling in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy, this hamlet overlooks the Célé valley, offering an exceptional natural setting where it's not unusual to see a few roe deer wandering around...

Oltarcie is located halfway between the town of Espagnac and the hamlet of Sainte Eulalie, on a 7-hectare plot of land close to Figeac, the Lot valley and a number of remarkable sites (the villages of St Cirq Lapopie and Rocamadour, the Padirac chasm, the Pech Merle cave, etc.).

Whether you're a pilgrim, hiker, holidaymaker, astronomer, speleologist, birdwatcher, kayaker, climber or just keen to try something new, you won't be disappointed! We're on the GR651 (a variant of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela), with its troglodyte villages (St Sulpice, Sauliac) and medieval villages (Marcilhac, Figeac and its charming old town). You can also visit the châteaux of Assier or the Lot valley (St Pierre Toirac, Cénevières), the many caves in the area or the summer markets.
We have a table tennis table and table football as well as outdoor games (swings...).

Oltarcie is also ideal for simply strolling and relaxing in the garden before cooling off in the large swimming pool. At night, make the most of the absence of light pollution to admire the myriad of stars typical of this unique area known as the 'black triangle'.

Each of our bedrooms has its own entrance and bathroom. So even if you're coming with family or friends, everyone has their own space. What's more, because they're built against the rock, the buildings keep a constant temperature and are cool in summer.

Outside summer and on request, we offer a table d'hôtes with local, seasonal produce.
